Stress and Anxiety

You wake up and realize it’s Monday once again.  You dread going to work or school.  You don’t feel like you had a weekend, because you spent all of that time answering emails, responding to texts, or working on other assignments so you wouldn’t feel so overwhelmed this week.  You spent another sleepless night thinking and worrying about everything on your plate.  Everyone seems to think you have it altogether, but you’re falling apart.

You’re struggling to meet everyone else’s demands.  It seems like someone always needs something from you.  Your to-do list is getting longer and longer, and you can’t seem to figure out how to fit everything into 24 hours.  You feel like you’ll never get caught up.  You’re exhausted and have no energy.  At the end of the day, there’s no time left for you.  You’re completely burned out.

You’ve had enough.  You want a sense of inner peace.  You want to wake up refreshed each day, so that you can truly be there for your family and friends.  You’re here because you’re ready to make changes that will bring about balance.

I will teach you coping skills to help you reduce and manage stress and anxiety.  These include self-soothing techniques that will enable you to relax, so that you can get the sleep you need in order to feel more energized and ready to face the day.  We will explore what is most important to you and use this information to help you learn to prioritize in ways that meet your needs while keeping you emotionally and physically energized.  We will work together to unearth deeply rooted patterns in order to help you discover your unique strengths and resources.
